Sharing Faith

Yesterday I blogged about Mom sharing her faith. Andy's latest blog has some interesting thoughts on sharing his faith. Yesterday our faculty had a 45 minute discussion about to whom and why we have the kids give to a Christmas giving project. Should it be an expressly Christian organization? Should it be to an expressly Christian organization that purposefully spreads the Gospel? Or do we trust Jesus to use our gifts in the way he sees fit without having to analyze and overanalyze it? No conclusion was reached. But it was obvious to me that we all share our faith, our gifts, our talents, our treasures, in different ways. And that's okay--in fact, that's good! Tom shares his faith in amazing ways--because God uses him! God made us all different and uses us in wonderful and various ways! What a blessing that is!

Your blogs are so...what's the word...filling. They fill my brain with things to ponder and they fill my heart with happiness for all of the things you talk about. I love the pictures and all of the memories and thoughts that accompany them. Your perspectives are inspiring; thanks for putting a bright spot in my day!

Was that picture taken last New Year's Eve? I miss my camera. It wasn't the battery. Grrrrr.

Maybe I should share my faith with the person who ends up selling me a new camera.

Maybe if you gave to a non-Christian organization it would be a good witness.

Joyce, yes--are we up for it again this year?
Andy, I agree and that was the thought shared by some at our meeting--there are times for sharing the gospel message and times for simply sharing mercy. That's what Jesus did.
