Elapsed Time
This week I'm trying to teach one of my students how to read an analog clock, and another one how to figure elapsed time! I don't feel qualified to teach about elapsed time -- because I can't figure out where the time goes. Heidi and Christie's new way of showing their "Blogs I Read" makes me realize how fast my time disappears. This weekend we get an hour of that time back. I wonder how I'll use it! Here's one of Christie's favorite kind of questions for all of you to ponder on-- if you could do anything you want with an extra hour of time, what would it be?

At this moment in time, it would be sleep :) Otherwise it would probably be shop...I'm too predictable.
If I had an extra hour I would use it to get better organized so I would not be so behind!
Fly to Chicago and gain even another hour.
I would squander it somehow.
Definitely sleep. Whenever people tell Suleyman where things are, like food items on a plate, they'll say "potatoes are at 3 o'clock", etc. He laughs because it's so common yet he's obvious never used or read an analog clock.
