Tom's Project

A couple of years ago I bought Tom a weathervane for Christmas. This winter he has been working on building this cupola for it. Today it went up. I think it turned out great. He used mostly leftover materials. The louvers were from bifold doors that were up in our attic, the shingles and siding were left over from the garage, and the paint from was from Andy. (By the way Sherwin-William's Duration paint is awesome.)
When I got home today, it was up! And Ron was in our driveway! It was good to see you, Ron!

That's impressive. How many people can say they've built a cupola? I agree that that Duration paint is great stuff.

Wow, great picture! When Scott and I were over earlier he had the cupola up but not the weathervane. It looks really nice!

It was nice to see you also. The cupola looks awesome. That Tom is quite a guy. Come to think of it, if I had my life to do over I would do it as Tom.
