Another One Done!
Yes, the Children's Christmas Service is over for another year! Phew! For the most part it went very well except for: a wayward pre-school boy egging Kaleigh on to push him--which, she, of course, did; (Like Heidi said, she finally wised up and moved away from him.); a choir director (that would be me) who absent-mindedly started the Kindergardeners on the third verse of "Away in a Manger" instead of the second and got us quite messed up! OOPS!; and a pair of itchy pants that caused Quinn to dig in places he shouldn't when standing in front of a large audience. Aunt Mary and Opa came and the final little glitch was that there was a parent there who had had dealings with Mary today at her middle school and seemed intent on carrying on the dealings after the service. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the event--I was too busy wagging my arms!

Wonderful songs and program with a great message. Thanks for your help in attempting to keep me out of the line of fire! Opa commented that no one will ever take advantage of Kaleigh - and that Ella sure knew all the words!
He was touched by all the presents from people at COK
An update on the pre-school incident. Bob got it all on tape and Emily informs me that it all started with Kaleigh hopping up and down on stage (excitement?) and Jack trying to stop her. I'm glad it's all saved on tape for posterity! :)
Phew is right.
