"His Eye is on the Sparrow....and the Bluebird (see comment)"
One of my favorite songs, "His eye is on the sparrow...and I know He cares for me." God's eye must have been on our fireplace this morning. As we were reading our morning "Portals of Prayer" a sparrow came down to visit in our fireplace. I had to leave but I'm assuming Tom got it out of there to a safer and more comfortable place for God to keep His eye on him.

I'll have to change my song...Tom just told me that it was a bluebird. Isn't there a song, "Bluebird of Happiness"? Andy, you probably know a "bluebird" song. I'm glad it got out safely.
The only one I can think of is "Bluebird Blues" by the great Sonny Boy Williamson.

Sounds like he got it out safe and sound. I can remember coming home one night when we lived on Clark Rd. in the old farm house, and having a couple birds in the kitchen! What a ruckus!
And I have a glass blown bluebird of happiness that Tim gave me when we were dating. :)
