Vacation Bible School or Vacated Brain Syndrome??
Poor Tom was a victim of my Vacated Brain Syndrome twice yesterday. First day of VBS. Both of us need to get there early (in my case due to procrastination and needing to get the music necessities set up). We had to drive separately so that I could go to school for a meeting after VBS. Tom leaves. Half an hour later I get ready to go. Car won't start. Try it several times. No luck. Call Tom. He comes home and messes with the battery cable which has given us trouble before. Still no luck. Go back with Tom. Do the VBS thing. Go home with Emily so that I can borrow one of their vehicles since Bob is out of town. Get there. No purse. Left it in Tom's car who had to take a VBS helper home. Finally get a hold of him, purse is not in car. Oh yeah, it's under my music stand at church. Second trip out of his way to bring me my purse. Hours later, Tom gets home after golf, out to see what he can do about the car. Works for an hour. Why can't he get it to start? He's fixed this problem before. Ohhhhh! Oops! The car was in park the whole time.
Second day of VBS - I hope it will be a great Vacation Bible School day and not another case of Vacated Brain Syndrome. Uh! Oh! I was planning to post some weekend pictures--THE CAMERA BATTERY IS DEAD!!??

We have had days like that.
My VBS strikes again. Tom informs me that the car was in DRIVE not PARK! (I knew that!)
I was going to ask . . . "What kind of car won't start in PARK?"
I hate to admit how many days we have like that. Mark said, "We're pathetic."
