Accosted at Dress Barn

On Tuesday after school I decided to make a quick stop at the Dress Barn in Arborland to see if I could find a black skirt to wear for Martha's wedding tonight. I walked in the door, went straight to a rack to look for a skirt, when suddenly someone I took for an overly friendly store clerk came up behind me and gave me a hug. I turned around and there was Roy Wasilewski--on a mission to find something for the same event. We had a great time- visiting, helping each other find things, waiting while each other tried things on, etc. An hour and a half later we walked out of there with mission accomplished. By the way, if you are attending Martha's wedding, don't look too closely at our skirts. Suffice it to say, that we both have wonderful taste!

Now reread the blog and for a moment, forget (like I did) that Roy is a woman. It gets scarier when the hug is from a man and the man is hunting for clothes at Dress Barn. =) Oops!

You're right, Amanda. When we first moved to Michigan in 1973, we had our friends Ken and Roy, and another couple, George and Duane.

That does sound like a fun time. I remember rooming with Roy my freshman year at state. The RA thought she had trouble when she saw the names.
