Count Your Blessings!
It's a good day to count my blessings even if my back is hurting. After school yesterday I had a meeting to learn of a new student that will be coming to AACS. She is being adopted by her aunt. Her mother died and her father is incarcerated. She is quite behind academically (I wonder why?), and she has never set foot in a church. What a blessing to be able to possibly affect the life of such a young lady. Please pray that she will make the transition to a move far away, a new family, a new school, and a new way of life.

Oh wow, what a sad but interesting story. Definitely some great opportunities to share with her!
That picture reminds me of Howland Lake where we stayed in 2003. Charles Dickens new what he was writing about. I'm so pleased God has made you a small part of this little girl's life. You could make a big difference
