I Woke with a Chuckle

I woke up this morning laughing out loud about the dream I had. My choir decided to have a concert. Unbeknownst to me, someone put an invitation in the bulletin for friends and family of the choir members to come up and join the choir in the front. We were trying to sing a beautiful song and up come a bunch of kids (including my own grandchildren)--Quinn was trying to carry my great-nephew, Benny, and Benny was wearing a big furry "Elmer Fudd" type of hat. Jeanne and Pat and several other people also came up. So did Trish's Mom and Bob's grandma in their wheelchairs. While we were singing this song, the kids were running around, Quinn handed me sleeping baby Benny, and Ida and Mabel were trying to carry on a conversation (loudly). I was trying to control the chaos. Then came the next song which was a Christian version of "YMCA". By this time, I kind of gave up and decided to just enjoy the experience. The audience started to really get into it and were clapping along. I turned around and looked and there were the basses and tenors up on a platform, dressed up in uniforms, and doing choreography to the song. I woke up laughing. "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord" today!

Torn!

Off to St. Paul this morning. I've got to get my room ready for one week from today--where did the summer go? But we've still got work to do in our family room. There are also tomatoes in the garden. Our family room is coming along but we still need to.... finish trim, put down entry floor tiles, hang two doors, clean and prepare for painting. Have a great day everyone!
